Concession Volunteers Needed: Cheer has signed up to run the JV football game (only 1 game per night) on 9/14, 9/21, 9/28 & 10/11 starting at 4:30pm. We need 3 volunteers for each game. Please click here to sign up.
GPA Waiver: Friendswood ISD high school students (classes of 2024 and 2025 only) may pursue a GPA Waiver (Pass Option) for qualifying elective courses. This option allows students who receive an “A” (90-100) average in a qualifying elective class to request that it be converted to credit with no grade points. Click here to find the application and guidelines for those students that are eligible. You can also find these guidelines on page 26 of the 2023-2024 Academic Planning Guide. Please print the application – review to ensure eligibility – obtain the appropriate signatures – and then return to the Counseling Center by October 3, at 4pm. Applications also available in the Counseling Center.
UIL Hotel Info: The UIL team will be traveling to Fort Worth on Thursday, January 4th. The team will be staying at the Fairfield Inn on Thursday and will move to the Omni for Friday and Saturday night. Transportation plan info will be coming at a later date. The team will travel to and from Fort Worth by charter bus. Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain any parent block rooms for this event.
NCA Hotel Info: The team will be traveling to Dallas on Friday, January 19th (by charter bus). The team will stay at the Aloft Hotel on Friday and Saturday night. You will be responsible for getting your child home at the end of the event on Sunday. We will forward transportation and schedule details as they are confirmed. Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain any parent block rooms for this event.
