Weekly update time!

We have quite a few appearances coming up. We still need Mighty to volunteer for a couple events and need a few more cheerleaders for JJ’s on 5/2. Also, due to A/P testing at the shack and the chance of moving practice locations in May, we need everyone (cheerleaders, mascots and at least 1 parent) to sign up for Remind. Please check the list at the end of this page to see if you are signed up.

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER (Cheerleaders & Mascots)

All money and order forms are due by midnight TOMORROW. You can put your orders in the box at the cheer shack or you can take to Jackie Gibson’s home at 2408 Sarasota Drive. Please make ONE CHECK to FMBC for all your orders.

SQUAD MEETINGS (Cheerleaders & Mascots)

Each squad will have a parent meeting to go over details about squad pictures, camp and other upcoming events (it’s not necessary for the girls to attend, but are welcome). Everyone is asked to bring a case of water to the meeting and we won’t ask again for water donations! Please put your name on your case so we can check you off the list. All meetings will be at the cheer shack. The days/times are tentatively set for: Varsity 5/1 at 5:00 for senior parents, 5:30 for Junior/Senior parents; JV 5/2 at 4:45, Freshman 5/2 at 5:30.


Last chance for returning cheerleaders to order a new water bottle ($15). Freshman, new cheerleaders and mascots will get their bottles with their uniforms. Also, please let us know if you are registered at ASR for 2018-2019. If you haven’t already let us know, please CLICK HERE


The Wranglerette Spring Show is this weekend! The coaches will tell the cheerleaders when/where to report and what to wear. If you still need tickets, they can be purchased from Danielle Wilson (713-819-1387) and Candace Leighton (713-447-2727) or from any Wranglerette.


Mandatory Wednesday practices begin NEXT WEEK. 5/2 practice will be at the cheer shack. 5/9 & 5/16 location is TBA due to A/P testing at the cheer shack. Location notices will be sent by REMIND

ATHLETIC PHYSICALS (Cheerleaders & Mascots)

Athletic Physicals are May 19 at the FHS Field House. All cheerleaders and mascots must have a physical done and on file with FHS Athletic Trainers before NCA Camp. Cheerleaders must have physicals on file before PreCamp on 6/12. Physical forms should be pre-filled out and can be found at http://myfisd.com/hs/athletics/ after May 7.

COMMUNITY APPEARANCES (Cheerleaders & Mascots)

All appearances will get community service hours. Reminder:9 service hours are due from current cheerleaders by May 31.

5/3 – Westwood Open House (cheerleaders and mascots) (5:45-7:00): Westwood is having an Open House for the new families transferring from Cline.

5/19 – Houston Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis (cheerleaders and mascots): More info will be provided about this event.

5/28 – Kendra Scott Fundraiser 5:00-7:00 (cheerleaders) at Baybrook Mall Location.The cheer program will get 25% of all proceeds! Thanks Mindy Robertson for setting this up!! Everyone go shop that day and spread the word!
