Summer Cheer Hours: Don’t forget about completing your summer cheer hours. A total of 10 summer cheer hours must be completed and your full should be turned in at the Meet and Greet on Monday, August 14th. You can find the form here.
Varsity Beach Weekend: The Senior moms are meeting today to iron out the details. Info will be coming through the girls and the Varsity Mom’s group chat soon. This will take place July 28-30th.
JV Squad Sleepover: This is generally the same weekend as Varsity Beach Weekend. JV moms, please watch for communication from Coach Stryk for committee info and details.
8/1 Practice: This has been tentatively scheduled for 3pm. Details to come through the girls on final plans and location.
Full squad practices will begin the week of August 7th on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00-5:15pm at the Cheer Shack. We have alot to do to be prepared for choreography camps, pep rally’s, Under the Oaks and Meet the Mustangs so there may be additional practices scheduled the week of July 31. Girls please watch for your cheer communication through your squad chats.
Football Program Ad purchases are due August 4th and final ads are due August 9th. You can find the form here.
Meet the Mustangs is Saturday, August 5th at 5:00pm. This is mandatory for all girls. Be prepared to arrive a little earlier, details will be coming through your squad chats from coaches. Varsity will be participating in the activities and JV will be doing face painting and tattoos.
Under the Oaks is Thursday, August 10th at 7:00pm at the Old Junior High on W. Spreading Oaks.
UIL Choreography Camp is August 12th & 13th.
Meet & Greet is Monday, August 14th at 6:30pm at the Cheer Shack.
First Day of School is Tuesday, August 15th. It is late arrival for grades 10-12th and JV will be performing at the Freshman pep rally that morning.
Intermediate Team Choreography Camp is August 18-20th.
Football Games start August 24th.
Advanced Choreography Camp is September 9-10th.
UCA Regional Competition is November 5th. All teams will compete.
NCA Lone Star Classic is November 19th. All teams will compete.
A look WAY ahead – Holiday practices are January 2-4 and UIL is January 4-6 in Forth Worth. NCA HS Nationals is January 19-21 in Dallas.

We need all the help from parents we can get – this program can’t run without you!
August billing will be coming in the next few weeks. Please be prepared to pay at Meet and Greet.
