ASR Registration Form – Required for all cheerleaders. If you currently take classes at ASR and/or plan to be on one of their teams, please be sure to place a check in the box that indicates you have already paid your registration fee directly to ASR. For everyone else, FHS Cheer will be paying this on your behalf and billing you.
Squad pictures have been postponed. As new dates are confirmed, they will be added to the calendar on the website. Be sure to consult the calendar frequently. Cheer Calendar
Summer Cheer Hours – Due to COVID-19, we will not be requiring summer cheer hours. However, we encourage the girls to continue to work on their skills throughout the break.
Community Service Hours – While there might not be alot of opportunities throughout summer, we want to remind you that there is a requirement to complete 9 community service hours per semester for the upcoming school year. If you do any Community Service, be sure to have your hours verified and list on the form. In the past, many girls have been able to complete alot, if not all of their hours during the summer, freeing up time during the school year. Don’t fret if you’re not able to complete any. We will be working on opportunities throughout the school year to assist the girls in completing, if needed.
Physicals – Scheduled for July 18th at FHS. New this year… All girls will need to complete the required packet, but physicals will only be required for any student that has not previously had a physical on file with FISD. However, we do encourage all girls to have a new physical prior to August 1st. 8/6-7: UCA Home Camp
We are close to finalizing all of the details for practice wear and I’ll be sending an email later this week with info and requesting quanities and sizing. Stay tuned! I truly appreciate y’alls prompt responses!!
Cheer Billing: Also coming later this week will be your first bill. I anticipate this just being ASR Registration fees and UCA Home Camp fees. I’ve received alot of questions regarding uniform payments. About a week before uniforms are picked up, I’ll be sending a copy of the billing from Varsity. Your payment will be due in full at uniform pickup. If you’d like an estimate on your Varsity total, please email or text me. I can give you a pretty good idea, but it may be +/- $5.oo or so due to discounts and shipping. Practice wear will be billed separately, once we finalize that order and its ready for pickup. We will always accept payments on your daughters account, if you’d like to make periodic payments. Your payment will be credited and used to pay bills as they arise. Payments can be made online here (processing fee applies), or you can drop your payment in the locked box on my porch (2408 Sarasota Dr). If you drop anything in the box, please send me a text (281-433-3333) so I can be sure to grab it. (I do check it periodically, if you forget.)
Communication – FYI, most everything that I send out in email is available on the FHS Cheer website under Recent News. I also try to send the info and/or link in Remind. If you’re not receiving the Remind messages, please check with me so that we can get this resolved before the new year starts.
